Aloha aku, aloha mai

Since 2022, Ka Pā Hula Hawai’i started offering hula lessons manuahi – free of charge – in effort to reduce financial barriers in learning traditional hula. The hālau is operated by volunteer staff, including Loea Kaha‘i a me Nā Kumu o Ka Pā Hula Hawai‘i, who generously dedicate their time and expertise to passing on traditions from their teachers to the next generation of haumāna (students).

Please consider supporting our hālau and 501(c)(3), so we can continue the transmission of the learned multigenerational traditional hula and its various aspects, Hawaiian history, nohona Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian way of life), and wahi pana (storied places) to our haumāna and extended community.
